Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Drug Monitoring Center (DMC) is a global center dedicated to monitoring, analyzing and information and expertise sharing on drugs and addiction on and from around the globe. We strive to cover essential aspects of drug and addiction including prevention; harm-reduction; and education.

The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support
    • Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff
    • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
    • Monitor staff performance and attendance activities
  • Recruitment
    • Ensure job descriptions are accurate
    • Be actively involved in the recruitment process
    • Short list the applicant for Operation Vacancies and keep record
    • Conduct interviews
  • Team development and orientation
    • Participate in conducting staff performance evaluations in line with AVSI approach and Procedures
    • Identify training and development opportunities
    • Provide assistance in developing human resource plans, and team Building activities
    • Organize and manage the staff onboarding for new employees

Qualifications

  • A university degree in a human resource management field or organizational development
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training development etc.)
  • Ease in interpersonal interactions, inspiring, organized, and able to communicate clearly and kindly
  • Effective written communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedures
  • Good level of English, French and/or German would be an advantage
  • Interest for volunteering and humanitarian

Titre: Chargé-e de mission recherche de fonds

Basé à Lausanne, en Suisse, le Drug Monitoring Centre (DMC) est un centre mondial dédié à la surveillance, à l'analyse et au partage d'informations et d'expertise sur les drogues et la toxicomanie dans le monde entier. Nous couvrons les aspects essentiels de la toxicomanie, incluant la sensibilisation, la prévention, la réduction des méfaits et l'éducation.

Dans le cadre du lancement de plusieurs de nos projets, nous sommes à la recherche d’un-e chargé-e de mission recherche de fonds bénévole. Le/la chargée de mission aura pour fonction la recherche de financement, de mécénats, de subventions publiques et privées, de bailleurs, de sponsors et de partenaires.

Tâches et responsabilités

  • Contribuer directement à la stratégie de recherche de fonds, subventions, sponsors opérationnels, partenariats, entreprises mécènes sur les différents types de mécénat (numéraire, compétence, nature, mécénat culturel, …)
  • Gérer les listes de prospects
  • Adapter la rédaction et soumission des propositions de financement et du budget
  • Gestion des relations entre les bailleurs et les différents partenaires
  • Coordonner le suivi du projet et des dossiers de financement
  • Remplir les tâches de suivi afférentes à la recherche de fonds (lettres de remerciements, attestations fiscales, factures, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Expérience en recherche de fonds dans l’univers des ONG, auprès des donateurs privés ou de fondations donatrices en Suisse
  • Intérêt pour le volontariat
  • Flexibilité dans l’accomplissement des tâches incombant à un projet multipartenaire
  • Sens de l’organisation, maîtrise de la synthèse et capacité à présenter efficacement
  • Grande facilité de contact et proactivité dans les rapports interpersonnels
  • Maîtrise du français et/ou de l’allemand, un bon niveau d’anglais est un avantage

Title: Regional Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting desk-based research and monitoring media, social networks, databases, and other resources on drugs related issues;

  • Assisting in development and administration of information flow both internally and externally;

  • Information sharing and communicating with other analysts and head of department;

  • Any other duties as requested by the line-manager

Qualifications

  • Preferably University degree in Social Science or related fields;

  • Experience in monitoring media, data presentation, and brief/report writing;

  • Very good knowledge of social networks;

  • Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is highly desirable
